Thank you for visiting Assisted Living Online, the web presence for Community Care Options (CCO). CCO is owned and operated by Tom Cullen and Eileen Stensrud. The site is intended as a resource for both residential facility employees and adminstrators, as well as the general public looking for facilities. We intend to introduce many new services on-line in the future.

Our Mission
We at Community Care Options are dedicated to providing quality education and training to administrators, care providers, and nurses of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE”s) and Adult Residential Facilities (ARF).  Our courses are approved through the California Department of Social Services, the Nursing Home Administrators & the board of Registered Nurses. 

Services & Products
We provide information on RCFE’s – a complete list of all licensed assisted living facilities online, to assist with locating a facility for placement.  We also provide training, conferences, and educational products for managers/owners of assisted living facilities.  Our goal is to provide information and options for placement, and assisting facilities to provide the best quality of care by giving them quality education, products, and support. 

Our services include help with getting waivers, writing exceptions and filling out incident reports. We audit employee and resident files to be sure the facility is in compliance, and has complete files. We are currently vendorized to provide continuing education classes for R.C.F .E.s. We work as consultants with the Administrators to assist with regulatory compliance as well as training of staff. We also will provide staff and administrative training to keep the facility in compliance. We hope to be seen as an asset to the facility as well as to the licensing agency.

Both Eileen and Tom are licensed administrators for R.C.F.E.'s. Eileen holds a Masters in Social Work and has taught classes at California State University Chico. Eileen was the Director of a Hospice Program, and has opened up and ran several Assisted Living Facilities. She sits on the Alzheimer's Board and the Community Care Licensing Advisory Committee.

Tom has a B.S. degree in Business Administration and has been a licensed administrator since 1980. During his career he has managed facilities from 6 beds to 200 apartments, has bought and sold five R.C.F.E.s and managed facilities for Marriotts, Walker Methodist and other smaller private companies.
