The Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP)
Employers covered by the law must develop, implement, and maintain a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) as part of their injury prevention program under Section 6401.7. The goal is to protect workers and other personnel from violent or aggressive behavior at work. The WVPP can either be integrated into the injury prevention program as a separate section or maintained as a standalone document. This ensures that all aspects of workplace safety, including the prevention of violence, are comprehensively addressed to create a safer working environment.
Plus, did you know that you could be fined up to $25,000 if you do not have your Workplace Violence Prevention Plan?
At Community Care Options, we can prepare your WVPP, whether you’re a residential care facility or another type of business in California.
